Automatic-Payment Options

Thank you for your interest in making automatic payments.

For tenants who sign up to have rent paid automatically, once three consecutive months have been paid using scheduled payments, in the following month the Tenant will receive a one-time rent rebate check for making automatic payments. If Tenant rents only a space, the one-time rebate is $50; if Tenant rents a home and a space, the one-time rebate is $100.

The following payment methods are eligible for the automatic payment rebate:

Option 1. If you have a bank account with Opportunity Bank, visit the bank. You need to sign an Automatic Transfer Request to transfer funds to Ruby Valley Ventures every month for the amount of your rent. Be sure the payments are made by the 5th day of each month to avoid late fees. This is the easiest option and is recommended by RVV.

Option 2. If you do not have a bank account with Opportunity Bank, you can still set up recurring payments or transfers to Ruby Valley Ventures through your own bank. Instructions for this will vary depending on your bank. For most banks, the process will be similar to this:

1. Select Pay Bills , then add Ruby Valley Ventures as a Biller (address: Ruby Valley Ventures, PO Box 851, Sheridan, MT 59749, phone: 406-800-1314)

2. Then select Pay a Bill

3. Choose Ruby Valley Ventures from the Biller list, and choose AutoPay Set Up Now

4. Enter the rent amount, choose Monthly as the frequency, and enter a start date of the 1st of the month. Remember late fees apply if payments are not received by the 5th day of the month.

Some banks will allow you to set up recurring automatic payments through Zelle as well. If you want to pay by Zelle, contact us for a QR code.

If you set up an automatic payment through a bank other than Opportunity Bank, let us know the setup so RVV can verify the automatic payment. If you have any questions about the setup for a specific bank, please let us know.

Option 3. Alternatively, recurring payments may also be made by ACH transfer or Credit Card using a link on the invoice we send you. However, there is a 2% convenience fee for this option. If you would like to use this option, please notify RVV at 406-800-1314, but RVV recommends options 1 and 2, which do not have fees, instead.
